About Us

 We believe in the strength and greatness of man. We believe that society should rise above the loathsome mess that it has become.  You are probably thinking that with a name like "Order of the Dracul", that we are pagans, satanists or some other strange group of society.  We are not.  The word "dracul" has its origins from the Latin word "draco" meaning "dragon".  Therefore our name is interpreted as "Order of the Dragon".

​  Our mission is to seek and find the lost knowledge of man and use that knowledge to better ourselves and the world.

We are an intellectual, fraternal society.  We study the lost knowledge of the many ancient civilizations that existed on this earth.  We seek to learn where we came from, why we are here and how can we help our fellow man and improve ourselves at the same time.  In short, we seek the meaning of life and ways to make the world we live in a better place.
 

  While the names Order of the Dragon and Order of the Dracul may be similar, we want to make one thing clear - that is where the similarity ends.  We do not, nor have we at any time believed that the members of our society have been chosen by the Gods to rule mankind.  On the contrary, we want to work with mankind to imporve the way of life for the planet as a whole.
 

  We consider ourselves a society of secrets rather than a "secret society" and we do keep our rituals and practices known only to those within our inner circle.  The reason for this is simple:  We want to limit and strictly regulate those who wish to join our group.  We do not want those who we feel are undesirable, uncommitted, untrustworthy or unreliable within our Order.  We are very serious about what we do.

  After you become one of the Kindred of the Order, your journey will be that of a mystic. This journey is not one that just anyone can take, yet, it is a journey that has given us many of our greatest minds, enriching the world with their inventions, scientific discoveries, beautiful works of art, music, and books. The journey is long and hard but you will find that the rewards in the end have been well worth it. This is the journey that we must each take if we are to attain the  pinnacle of our untapped potential.

  You may be wondering what we mean when we  say that you will take a journey of a mystic. A proper definition of the word mystic seems to be vague or elusive. We define a mystic as someone who knows the source of all being. Some may call this source God; others, the Divine or the Cosmic. No matter what it is called, we know, not believe.
 

  Our current members are all intelligent, productive people of society and we want to keep it that way.  We have counted among our ranks medical professionals, law enforcement officers, athletic trainers, holistic medicine specialists, scientists, chemists, pastors and former enlistments of the U.S. military.  Some of our members work for some very large corporations in the United States.  We are not a pretend organization. We are very real and very serious.  We have been in existence since January, 1993 and we plan to be around for much longer.

  We are always looking for new members to add to our ranks. However you must be local to the Nashville, TN or Jackson, MS areas. Active participation is absolutely paramount in our Order, so living in close proximity to one of our branches is necessary. If you live in, or extremely close to, one of these areas and think that you have what it takes to join us, please get in contact with us.

  If you do not live close to one of our branches, but are still interested in joining, contact us anyway. While you may not meet the criteria for joining, we are always interested in hearing from like-minded souls from other areas. We are thinking about adding a special membership category for our Internet friends. Though it will be limited in scope and not privy to all of our teachings, it may be a way for you to expand your consciousness and begin your journey on a path to becoming a more enlightened individual!
